Stack ports down after adding switch to the stack

Hi There,

I am having trouble with a couple of stack port being down after I added a 6th switch to a stack of 2960x switches. It is port 1 on switch 1 and port 2 on switch 6.

I provisioned the switch on the stack first and also set the switch number and priority on the switch before adding to the stack.

Onyl thing I can see is being the issue is a faulty stack port on the new switch as the cable from switch 1 to 6 was just moved from the old last switch to the new switch 6.

This is what the showed once I added the switch.

Resovled.

Turns out even though I repurposed the cable it some how became faulty as I tried another one and stack port came up ok.

Good to hear...
