Hello,
I have two cisco 3850 switch, and i have stack the switch. one as a active and another is standby.
can i put both the stack switch in Active state? mean i want to use both switch ports in same time . is it possible in cisco 3850

Yes the active standby state only relates to the who is the master of both , all switchports are active even on standby switch
is not like asa active standby state

To add a bit to what Mark notes, when you stack 3850 switches, effectively all the stack members become one switch, which just appears to have banks of ports (one per switch member).

if i put some links on standby switch, it also flow the data like active switch do. am i right?
