1. How to check Stacking switch configuration on cisco 3850 series switch

ex. i have one switch  with 3 stack switch , total 4 switch are in stacking . now i want to check 3rd and 4th switch running configuration from master switch . i mean i want to check the configuration of Standby switch and member switch

Please reply...............

Please can you help me regarding this

Massive degradation in local network throughput

I just tested to copy a 4GB file from the network share to my local hard disk and it just gave me 1MByte/s where I would expect 100MByte/s.
It looks as if only the users in the 1st floor are affected. They are all attached to the switches sw1 ... -sw3. I just checked the link states on the switches and they are all ok except the fiber uplink on -sw1. This link intermittently switches between green and orange.

what i check here...

I explained each of these already above , license mis-match contact the license team and get the new license and apply it so its same as the other switch , 2 different licenses in a stack they need to be the same each switch , the document link shows you how to check and install licenses for the device

version mismatch is the major/minor issue there's a link explaining that too , you need to have same ios each switch to avoid this issue , check your dir in flash for each switch there going to be slightly different , you need to make them the same

the sdm has a link above stating how to fix the issue

it looks like these switches were just connected together by stack cables and  no one has checked first what's required to make them work fully as a stack

This doc explains how stacks work and whats required to set them up to have them fully formed without errors

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750x_3560x/software/release/12-2_55_se/configuration/guide/3750xscg/swstack.html

what are these please tell me.

LAN Base:
IP Base:
IP Services:

Switch# show license udi

Device# PID SN UDI
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*2 WS-C3750E-48PD-S CAT1033R1XU WS-C3750E-48PD-S:CAT1033T1MU
5 WS-C3750E-48PD-S CAT1033R1KF WS-C3750E-48PD-S:CAT1033R1UR

prior to trying to stack your switches make sure they are running the same SW Version load and check the License Level load

under sh version

License Level:
License Type:
Next reload license Level:

even though your WS-C3750E-48PD-S is IP Base, the primary could be downgraded to Lanbase as its license reload

sorry but i am not getting please can you clear which i use

LAN Base:
IP Base:
IP Services:

its not about what you use its about what you purchased , switches come with lanbase basic switching functions , but if you want extra features like routing you need at least an ipbase and for full routing and advanced features like pbr you need an ip services licences

Run this command to see what licenses are applied to each switch

show license all switch 2

swho license all switch 5

Thanks for reply.

here in my stacking switch i can see

Power Fan Inline
Supply Model No Type Status Sensor Status
------ ---------------- --------- ----------- ------- -------
PS1 PWR-C45-6000ACV AC 6000W good good good
PS1-1 220V good
PS1-2 220V good
PS2 PWR-C45-6000ACV AC 6000W good good good
PS2-1 220V good
PS2-2 220V good

PS1 and PS2 ok

but what are these between PS1 and PS2

like PS1-1, PS1-2, PS2-1, PS2-2

Please reply me.

There your power supplies

but why one PS1 is showing in Two PS1-1, PS1-2 same in PS2.

How to check stack switch uptime threw command in 3850 switch please reply

in 3750 i can use this command

remote command switch 3 (stack switch) sh ver

but it is not running in 3850

if its a stack show version will show each switch in a row with its uptime you dont need the remote command usually , just run show version and hit spacebar to see the rest of the switches uptime below one another same on 37s and 38s when stacked

Numbered like that as there dual power supplies hot swappable at the back of unit  there's no issue with them there all up and functional which is what matters with power supplies

sh license right-to-use summary
License Name Type Count Period left
-----------------------------------------------
ipbase permanent N/A Lifetime
apcount base 0 Lifetime
apcount adder 20 Lifetime

what is apcount here.

The access point count your allowed 20

you mean if we don wanted to use WLC in that case we can add 20 Access point with switch...
