Hi,
Becuase it is standby supervisor. You can access the standby virtual console from the active supervisor engine with the attach module, session module, or remote login commands on the active supervisor engine. You must be in privilege EXEC mode (level 15) to run these commands to access the standby console.
As:
Core-Sw# session module 2

Hi,
I have configured Stackwise virtual on 2 x C9500-12Q-A (2 x 40gig SVL link and 1gig DAD link) running IOS 17.3.4 version, it configured successfully and I can see the redundancy and other stackwise links details. When I console to the standby switch I can enter the exec and global configuration mode of the standby switch.
In parallel I configured Stackwise virtual on 2 x C9500-48Y4C (2 x 40gig SVL link and 1gig DAD link) running IOS 17.3.4 version. Stackwise configured successfully on these switches as well. But when I console to the standby switch it mentions the below.
Distribution-stby>
Standby console disabled
Is this a normal behavior or I need to configure something else.
