Hello All Geniuses !!!
Cant seem to find much on Cisco or the internet about this matter. I need your expert advise on this.
I work for a Service Provider. We have a Cisco 4503. I have a customer on vlan791 that shows quite a many static entries for MAC addresses . I understand what static mac's are.... but these addresses are 'not' manually configured on our switch. I not sure why these MAC addresses are showing up there as static entries. 'All' the static MAC entries are 'locally learned' from customer facing port on this the same switch (fa3/10), not from anywhere else on the core from other terminating site of this vlan.
Can anyone advise why they are there? What is there purpose.

took another snip after checking above with 2 mins of gap... the static MAC addresses incremented to 152 from 149 preciously.
