steps to add switch to the stack

May i know the steps to add switch to the stack, 3850 switch, thanks

Hi Jolinchewjb,

Step 1. On the new switch give the following global command and save the configuration.
switch <switch number> provision <switch model>

Step 2. Power off the new stack member.

Step 3. Connect the new member to the Cisco stack by using stacking cables.

Step 4. Power on the new stack member. And this switch will join the stack.

also make sure your using same ios-xe version as per other switches in the stack so you get all the features any difference could result in some features not working
