Hi,
I have two WS-3750-24PS in a stack with two etherchannels against two Enterasys N3 with 802.1w. I read that the 3750 just support the 802.1w standard if the mst is configured, is that right?? Is there any other way to interconnect these devices avoiding loops??
best regards,
Laura

Laura,
802.1w & 802.1s are fully compatibile, you should have no issues running them together.

the problem is that we don't want to run mst, just the standard 802.1w, but the the CLI only let us to configure PVST, rapid-PVST and MST

802.1w is rapid-PVST
802.1s is MST
AFAIK the Entrasys switches support 802.1w - so you just configure Rapid-PVST on both devices.

Hi Laura.
That's right, the way Cisco supports standard 802.1w (as opposed to their, in regard to per VLAN support superior) rpvst+ is by configuring MST, but without regions.
I.e. you run it all in MST0.
