Hello,
I am looking for a how-to guide on migarting 2 6509 switches with Dual SUP-2's to sup720. Can anyone help please?

Hakeem,
The best place to start is the FAQ for the SUP720. The SUP720 requires a higher version of FAN Tray and bigger Power Supply. I would also make sure that the modules that you have on the SUP2 is supported on the SUP720 and load the correct image on the SUP720 that supports all of them.

Thanks for that.
I have the required hardware for this migration. The line cards currently in the SUP2's are also supported in the SUP720.
I am running a hybrid code on the sup2's and plan to use native IOS when i migrate to the 720's.

You can use the CatOS to IOS conversion tool on the support pages - logon required. This makes a good job of about 95% of the conversion. However, you'll need to go through it in detail to check it all out. I recently did this and it works quite well.
