I am connecting a 4507 with redundant SupII+10GE cards to a 6509 with redundant sup32with 10GBE. I have 2 fiber runs between the switches. I plan to plug one fiber run into the top 2 sups and the second into the bottom 2 sups. If the sups are configured for redundancy do I need a cross cable between the 2 sup32s for true redundancy?

Mark,
Once you configure redundandy on Supervisor Engines, the secondary port on each Sup is disabled.

Hi Friend,
With Sup2+10GE in 4507R, you have Tengig inetrfaces 1/1 and 2/1 as active. tengig interface 2/2and 2/2 are not active. Fiber ports 1/3,1/4,2/3,2/4 are active and 1/5,1/6,2/5,2/6 are not active.
You have use a normal fiber link and can terminate between the chassis to get the total redundancy.
