SVI`s on Spine Leaf Architecture

New to Spine/Leaf, should the SVI`s go on the leafs or the Spines?

Leaf usually is equivalent to access and Spine is to core. Traditionally the core gets the SVI, but sometimes the access layer switches also do the routing.

True and I`ve received varying answers on where the svi should live so thought posting here to get a concensus. Thanks for the link.

Yes, it really depends on the design. Sometimes routing at the access layer works fine, but most of the time when you need to extend a vlan from multiple closets, floors, etc.. to the core, routing at the core/spine makes sense. If you are looking to do this at a data center, most of the time you need a layer-2 environment (leaf or access), and routing takes place at the core.
