Switch 6500 Power DC Fail

Hi

I have a Switch 6500 with a DC power fail, in the log it show the next error.

CAT6509_BAR#sh logg | inc power
Aug 22 17:23:29: %C6KPWR-SP-2-PSFAIL: power supply 1 output failed.
Aug 22 17:23:29: %C6KPWR-SP-4-PSREDUNDANTONESUPPLY: in power-redundancy mode, system is operating on one power supply.

The shwo env show the fail

power-supply 1 fan-fail: OK
power-supply 1 power-input: DC high
power-supply 1 power-output-mode: high
power-supply 1 power-output-fail: failed

I trie to search some information in Internet but i could´t find anything, can anyone give some tips o how to troubleshoot this error.

Hi

Reseat the power supply that's showing failed when you look at the chassis it will be red at the led , you can do this while it is up and in production , if its still not coming up make sure there are no electrical issue going into the PS , if there is not you will likely have to replace it , they do go from time to time , how long is the switch up ?

you can also try power it from the cli --hw-module power-supply 1 power-cycle
