Switch can't reach internet

I'm having some trouble with a 2960-S configuration to reach the internet. I'm not sure if this is related to the switch or possibly the comcast gateway. Network configuration is as follows:

Comcast Gateway ---------> Cisco 2960-S -------------------> PC

Public IP / 10.0.0.1          10.0.0.225 (VLAN1)            10.0.0.100

                                         10.0.2.225 (VLAN2)             10.0.2.100

From 2960-S: I can ping private IP of Comcast Gateway (modem), but cannot ping the WAN address. I cannot ping any internet addresses from the switch. The default gateway for users is the VLAN interface on the switch. From each VLAN I can ping the other interface on the switch.

I have ip routing enabled and a static route of 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.0.1

I have a suspicion that the issue may be comcast gateway modem, but wanted to rule out my switch config first.

thanks.

Can you provide the switch configuration? From the diagram above it looks like the Comcast device will need to perform routing between the two subnets/vlans. You will also need to configure a trunk from the switch to the Comcast device.
