I wanted to extend  a uplink between these switches by using SFP-10G-LR( from 2nd floor to 23rd floor). I want only fiber uplink. But the vendor has given new model: T1-SFP-10G-LR-CS .Does this model T1-SFP-10G-LR-CS  fir for both the switches.I do not see much docs for this module.

Hi,

there is no part code as T1-SFP-10G-LR-CS. check datasheet.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/transceiver-modules/data_sheet_c78-455693.html

SFP-10G-LR will do the connectivity without issue.

to check compatibility between devices and transceivers, use https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/

Please rate this and mark as solution/answer, if this resolved your issue
Good luck

If this single-mode or multi mode fibre cable - is compatability i do not see any issue, this needs to connect and test it.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hello,

T1 Nexus is a third party vendor. They claim that their SFPs are fully supported on Cisco equipment. So in theory you should be fine, but as other users said, you will only know for sure once you have physically tested this setup. Below the specs from the T1 Nexus catalog:

Part Number: T1-SFP-10G-LR
Form Factor: SFP

Data Rate: 10G

Reach: 10KM

Product description: DOM Transceiver Module
