Switch module groups TenGig to Gig on 4900M

Hello,

Can you confirm that it is not possible to switch an X2-10G port to X2-1G (2 x 1Gb) on module 1 on an 4900M ?

I have this error when inserting an CVR-X2-SFP V02 :

%C4K_GLMMAN-3-X2PLUGGABLESEEPROMREADFAILED: Failed to read seeprom on port Te1/5. Reinsert X2 module or configure GigabitEthernet port group if TwinGigConverter is installed.

Module 1 does not allow me to switch from TenGig to Gig, is this normal ?

Switch(config)#hw-module module 1 ?

Hi @marce1000,

Doesn't seem to be my case... Your link only talks about the non-detection of X2-10GB-SFP...

I have the impression that it is not possible to use CVR-X2-SFP (with two 1Gb SFP) in the 8 slots on the bottom of the chassis...

I couldn't find any information on this !
