Hello
I understand that the highest priority of the SVL configuration for the two switches is 15. The question is, does the 15 represent most favorable to be active or does priority 1 the most favorable to be active?
Thank you,
John

Hi John,
Was there any fast-switchover done? Or possibly switch 1 would have booted after switch 2.
You can verify that with command “show redundancy”, this will show the uptime of both switches.
To force a switchover from the active switch to the standby switch, use the "redundancy force-switchover: command in privileged EXEC mode on a switch stack.

Hi John,
Stackwise-virtual follows the same theory normal stack switches, switch with highest priority will always become active Switch.

OK, thank you for that answer, but for some reason I have my stack # 1 with highest priority, but stack #2 still takes over as the Active even though its priority is lower. Is there anything you can think of that I might look at to resolve this isue?
