I have setup a span port on Cisco switch. I need to monitor the total bandwidth utilization of the SPAN port. I am unable to do it from my NMS (Network Monitoring Systems) using SNMP. I can see the bandwidth utilization of access and trunk port but not from SPAN port. I need the span port utilization for a few hours. How can I achieve this?

- Can you see traffic counters with the show interface command (for the span port) ?

you need to setup and SNMP and monitor that port to see the statistics.

As stated in my original post, I am already monitoring the switch using SNMP. It provides bandwidth utilization of all the ports except SPAN port. My requirement is to monitor the bandwidth of SPAN port.
