Hi
I have one node with 2 interfaces that are bonded on a server (LACP) and share the same IP
I can setup switchport access on the switch with the correct vlan this will only work on one interface. The two interfaces are up but the traffic will only go across one interface. I can ping the server. even if I put them in a Port-Channel interface it doesn't work. I have tried to add it into a trunk this also doesn't work on both links and I cannot ping the server address even though the Port-Channel is in LACP I know I can make the port channel a switchport access. but that will only work between two switches not between the switch and the server. I am trying to figure away around this

- Depending on server platform and os-software-type , sometimes one can tweak or need to change networking settings on the server to make a compatible bonded connection with the cisco switch. Check your server documentation.
