Hi:

My syslog server is not receiving any log. Locally I can see the log.

Here is my config:

logging logfile customer1 6 size 65536

logging server 10.10.10.10 6 use-vrf default

logging timestamp milliseconds

I can ping the server from the nexus.

Thanks

Have you read the below

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/configuration/guide/cli_rel_4_0_1a/sm_syslog.html

Yes I certainly did.

Thanks

Are you using N5500 with the L3 features? Or L2 only?

Can you post the output of the following commands:

show ip int br

show ip int br vrf management

Regards,

jerry

Note: I am using default vrf and syslog server is reachable.

Misunderstood you before.

What facility level is configured to receive syslog message on your server? The default for NXOS 5.x software is local7.
