System returned to ROM by power cycle at 23:31:24 PDT Thu Sep 27 2007 (SP by power on)

Hello Team,

 

Today i got one case regarding the Router reboot. Output pasted below.

where it's showing the Reload was normal reload.

 system restarted time was 07:20:12 IST Fri Jun 5 2015

But the above line what does that mean ?,, what it signifies...

"System returned to ROM by  power cycle at 23:31:24 PDT Thu Sep 27 2007 (SP by power on)" Kindly elaborate. why it's showing the previous date of 2007.

Do you have redundance Sup module on this box?

If yes the system restarted basically may be the Active Sup. (I mean to say the SUp failover might had hapen and not the complete switch reloaded at this point of time).

 

Can you please paste:-

show ver

show module

show redundancy

show logs

It looks to me cosmetic bug.

I will share in case if I find it today.

you mean to say that this is a cosmetic bug.

but already we are running a Higher release on cisco Router..
