Hi All,

Good Day!

I have problem regarding telnet the port through client going to server and server to client.

I already set the port in our firewall but only 2 ports are can telnet the port 80 and port 443 but for port 12345 this the error occur "http/1.0 400 bad request. In server to client all  ports cannot telnet. What do you think the cause why it cannot telnet?

I hope your positive response.

Thank you.

Regard,

John

if you telnet like this telnet 10.1.1.1 80 your not actually using telnet its testing http access and again 443 is testing https access , telnet uses port 23 but you dont need to specify it , if you telnet to 12345 that port needs to map to something that's actually known , the device probably does not know what port 12345 is used for so cannot action it
