TRILL MAC Learning

Im  trying to wrap my head around how TRILL removes the need to broadcast  unknown unicast messages. The reason why redundant paths pose a problem  in Ethernet is the broadcast nature of Ethernet. So how does TRILL work  around that?

I  know it leverages a routing protocol (IS-IS) to have RBridges learn of  each others existence, but how does each RBridge know what MAC addresses  are sitting behind each RBridge?

Example, RB1 receives a frame with an unknown MAC address, how does it find it where that MAC sits?
