Hi Guys,
I have a 6509 Switch with single Sup 720 with basic configuration. But i m unable to break the password of this.I have tried all the methods which have mentioned on the cisco site.
Can anybody tell me that what could be the other method for breaking the password other than change the register value???
I am also trying to take the switch back on default settings but not successful till now.
Any suggestions will welcome & appreciate!!!
Regards,

Thanx for ur hlp!

Rohit,
To perform password recovery you need to do it when the right after the RP gains control of the console port. Please see the following link.
