Unable to create tunnel in Switches from Packet Tracer

Hi, I have tried to create a simple tunnel between two directly connected P2P WS-C3560-24PS switches in the PT but somehow it does not work. However, I could create a tunnel between any two Cisco Routers using the same settings. Appreciate for some advise on this.

what kind of tunnel ?

A GRE tunnel or an IPSec tunnel ?

Routers have more tunneling options also in real world, or you may be facing an issue with PT.

But first you should provide information on the type of tunnel you are trying to configure

Although PT often does not offer all the features of the real devices it emulates, I don't recall the 3560 switches supporting tunnels.

Probably you cannot. PT from Cisco Net Academy is just a software Simulator; it does not run on real IOS or virtual IOS; It is close to IOS but It does not really behave like real IOS would (some simply features do).
PT is excellent tool to learn and practice networking fundamentals and commands for CCNA exam but not for more advanced topics and technologies.
