I need to upgrade a stack of 2960s to the latest firmware. It's a stack of three switches, all the same model and firmware. Quick question about upgrading a stack. I know the process is uploading the firmware to the switch and using the boot system command to tell the switch to reboot to the new version. Will the boot system command upgrade the firmware for each of the switches in the stack or is there something different to do considering it's a stack?
Thanks for any suggestions. Much appreciated.

That process is old and not recommended.
Download the TAR file and use the automated script: archive download-sw tftp://<TFTP_IP_ADDRESS>/<filename.tar>
This will distribute the IOS files across all the switch members automatically.
