USB Console Cable Driver for Win7 x64

Hello everybody,

Has anyone used the new USB cables that comes with new 2960s and new 3750s switches?

I downloaded the driver for it seems to be only for XP/Vista because I installed it on my Win7 x64 and no success.

Did you use "Compatibility" settings?

Well, I don't know what you are talking about...so I didn't.....could you please clarify me on that?

No worries.

Highlight the filename and choose Properties.  Go to "Compatibility" tab (second from the top) and choose "Run this program in compatibililty mode for"
and choose either WinXP or Vista.  Also, just to make sure, go down to the buttom and under "Priviledge Level" put a tick on the box that reads "Run this program as an adminstrator.".
