I want to use a wild card to match a HOST in a class-map. I want to match multiple hosts for the same site:
? Support.Cisco.com
? Employee.Cisco.com
? Helpdesk.Cisco.com
I want to match this with *.Cisco. Will this work?

This does not work.As path match *. will match the numbers preceding the * and they does not work in DNS kind of support. They can be filtered using the ip address individually.
