Hi,
My understanding is that by default the Cisco N7K will put voice/video packet in a priority queue (DSCP46), based on reading and the following output;
CISCON7K# show class-map type queuing 1p3q1t-8e-out-pq1
Type queuing class-maps
========================
class-map type queuing match-any 1p3q1t-8e-out-pq1
Description: Classifier for Egress Priority queue 1 of type 1p3q1t8e
match cos 5-7
CISCON7K# show policy-map interface eth 10/22 output type queuing
Global statistics status : enabled
Ethernet10/22
Service-policy (queuing) output: default-4q-8e-out-policy
Class-map (queuing): 1p3q1t-8e-out-pq1 (match-any)
priority level 1
queue dropped pkts : 0
Class-map (queuing): 1p3q1t-8e-out-q2 (match-any)
bandwidth remaining percent 33
queue dropped pkts : 0
Class-map (queuing): 1p3q1t-8e-out-q3 (match-any)
bandwidth remaining percent 33
queue dropped pkts : 0
Class-map (queuing): 1p3q1t-8e-out-q-default (match-any)
bandwidth remaining percent 33
queue dropped pkts : 0
CISCON7K# show table-map dscp-cos-map
Table-map dscp-cos-map
default copy
Can anyone assist me with a command that will verify that packets are hitting this queue? Struggling to find info online or using contextual help (ie, the ?)
Also looking to very the dscp-cos-map, cant find this info.
I'm being asked by another team to prove that it is in fact prioritizing voice traffic.
Thanks in advance!
