Virtual Port Channel on different line cards problem

Hi,

It is possible to add interface from different line cards reference ( for example N7K-148GT-11L and N7K-F132XP-15 ) to a vPC ?

I ask you because I try it and I have the following error :

command failed: port not compatible [Capabilities FabricPath]

Hi Thibault,

no, unfortunately you cannot mix M1 with F1 ports within the same portchannel (not necessarily vPC).

'You cannot configure the ports from a F1 and an M1 series linecard in the same port channel because the ports will fail to meet the compatibility requirements.'
