Evening Cisco Techs,
How does one test that hardware is working via the CLI in CUCM
As the CLI in CUCM is very limited and I wouldn't expect CUCM to assist much?
Again thanks in advance

Hi John,
'Show hardware' on CUCM CLI would give you hardware-related information about the server in specific. such as platform, serial number, BIOS, Raid controller and partition information.
refer below doc for monitoring and maintaining CUCM hardware.

if you want to verify registration of the FXS, voice ports etc then you would have to check these from the gateway/router you have configured on. do show inventory or show module on the router to get the modules detail and do Show voice port summary or show voice port (port number) to verify the current status and configuration of the voice ports on the router.

HI John,
As stated, the command show inventory/show diag would run on IOS router (gateway device).
you would have configured the FXS in a router right ?...please check the document shared.

Hi Venperum,
Let me apologise. Sorry. This is for a VIC-2BRI-S/T-TE piece. Not FXS. (I had a computer issue on my mind with the same acronym)
I don't have the IOS. I thought that CUCM CLI replaces the IOS when I upgraded to CUCM.
