Voice vlan on Cisco phone CP-7821 without CDP/LLDP running

Hi all,

We have some new Cisco phones to deploy but the CDP/LLDP is disabled in our organization. We are trying to use Microsoft DHCP scope option 132 to send the voice vlan information to the cisco phone but it seems not working.

Is there anyone can help? Does this way work for Cisco phone or we need to use different options?

Hi,

Since these are Cisco phones, you still need for CDP to be enabled so, the switches can pass the vlan info to phones.
