Voice vlan on non-voice port

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can agree/disagree.

I've seen voice vlan configurations on ports with no voice device attached cause problems, so I always make sure the port configuration is updated per the end device instead of leaving all ports for a switch configured with the voice vlan (in case a client moves a phone to a new port). 

Appreciate any experience with this if you have seen issues. I have.

I haven't ever come across voice vlan causing any problems. What type of issues you are seeing?
