Can we perform vPC  between Nexus 7010 and Nexus 7706 series datacenter switches.

As i read on some forum that we cannot perform vPC between nexus 5000 and 5500 series switches.

Most of the time when we build vPC or VSS or SVL, we expect to be identical to build and get high availability (if one of them failed, other can take over all the services work as expected)

technically you can build vPC between the model you mentioned, as long as both have same modules. ( never had this requirement and tested).

turns out  both the modules should be same for vPC to work as you mentioned. thanks for the reply.
