vPC member port keeps on getting suspended

Hi,

I'm trying to create my first vPC on my Nexus5K for my UCS server but one port keeps on getting suspended. I'm using 2 ports on each 5K, E1/1 and E1/2 and port-channel 100 for both interface. Out of these 2 ports, 1 port always gets suspended. If i try to shutdown the working port, the suspended port comes UP and works fine. If i remove the suspended interface out of the port-channel bundle, the interface comes up. i have tried to rebuild the configuration and still doesnt work.

How can i resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Po500 - vPC peer link

Po100 - port-channel to my server

Hi,

Eth1/1(P) Eth1/2(s)

On the UCS side, is the ports that connets to e1/2 configured correctly for LACP?

If your post is correct you need to find out why it says this . This shows them in 2 different port-channels and why it would suspend the second member.  both have to be in the same portchannel

Ethernet1/2 is down (suspended)

Hi Glenn,

E1/2 is also po100, i miss copied it from another switch. Thanks!
