I have a VSS setup of 6513 chassis. The Access switches are connected to the VSS through MEC. There's a MEC to an External Switch where all my next hops Routers,Firewalls, WAN are conencted. All the SVI's config on VSS. VSS is running safe harbour IOS & config as per cisco white paper.
I am observing a random issue of some of the VLAN users loose conenctivity to the next hops connected on the external switches.
As a quick workaround clear ip arp on VSS resolves this.
As a resolution to this i am configuring indvidual trunks from the External Switch thereby STP blocking one of the link to the VSS. Since then there is no loss of connectivity.
Has anyone encountered the same problem ? suggestion for the use of the MEC for the external switch

Hello,
Can you provide the following commands
show switch virtual
show switch virtual dual-active sum
and the configuration lines of the running config for
switch virtual domain
Kind regards,
Michel
