Hi all
After some recommendations, it has come to light that I need to turn off VSS preempt as I dont want any downtime
On my primary switch can I turn off preempt without disrupting anything? as its a live network
are the commands
switch virtual domain 100
no switch 1 preempt
please can someone let me know asap,

Yes you can remove without any issues.
this is been recorded under below link:
The switch preemption is not recommended. Therefore, removing the commands is a good practice and does not cause a reload. For more information on the Preemption feature on VSS, refer to Switch Preemption.

Ys the syntax is correct.
To disable preemption you need to issue the following command: no switch [1 | 2] preempt
