VSS Configuration on C4500X seems to be erroneous

Hello Team Members

Recently we established VSS between C4500X chassis (WS-C4500X-16SFP+) . Everything is working normal. 

Both units are logically bundled,  there is no issue a far as traffic flow is concerned, however after Chassis merged into 

one, Port-channel 2 configuration (defined earlier on Chassis 2) is changed by its own. Before VSS , Port-channel 2 was having the following config .

interface Port-channel2
 switchport
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport nonegotiate
 switch virtual link 1
---------------------------------------------------------------------

but after VSS, 2 commands are removed on its own on Port-channel 2

interface Port-channel1
 switchport
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport nonegotiate
 switch virtual link 1
!
interface Port-channel2
 switchport
 switch virtual link 2
!

is it a bug, we are running Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch  Software (cat4500e-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.07.00.E RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4)
