VSS domain ID best practices

Hi all,

A very simple query here. Just looking for some feedback and examples of peoples thoughts regarding this.

When issuing domain IDs VSS' in a single organisation at what number do you start issuing from? Do you start from 1 or 255 or somewhere else? I was thinking of starting at 1 for my core switch then going from there? I know this is pretty irrelevant as long as it is managed, I'm just curious at what other people have done.

Hi,

You can use any number between 1-255.  I usually start from 100 than 110, 120, etc....
