VSS for Catalyst 6807-XL

Hi,

Can i run VSS on (2) Catalyst 6807-XL using fibr cable and sfp-10g-sr for the VSL link?

Any special license needed? Special cables?

No special cable required - 10GB-SR should be good. check depends on supervision (Dual or Quad Sup card to deploy)

Yes, you can use a 10G link for the VSL. See https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/15-5SY/config_guide/sup6T/15_5_sy_swcg_6T/virtual_switching_systems.html#39513 . We don't really care about the transceiver type as long as it is a minimum of 10G.
