vss with modules

Hi

i m going to convert my two  6500 to VSS , i have the below module on each 6500 . does the VSS work fine and well with modules listed below?? , pls give me video for VSS implenatation and verifactions

Hello Ibrahim,

6148 are not supported in VSS and they will be left unpowered you should change them with 6748 modules like the one in last slot.

FWSM and NAM are service modules and require appropriate minimum firmware version to be supported in VSS you should upgrade them first if necessary.

Ibrahim,

Only the 67xx , 68xx and 69xx series line cards support VSS. The 61xx series do not support VSS.
