Hi Guys,
I have two 6509 chassises and every chassis has 2 sup2t card and I want to configure VSS for that!
Do i need to connect all Sup2t with each other or just 1 sup2t from each chassis is enough?
Thanks

Hi,
You can use 2 links from the same sup for each chassis.
Have a look at figure 11-6 in this link for more info.

So doesn't needed to take 4 links between two chassis? and there is not benefits for that?
Thanks

You can but you don't have to. The benefit comes in fail-over and uptime. I personally like VSS when you have one sup in each chassis as having 2 sups in each chassis makes things more complicated but that is just me. Here is a good white paper discussing the concept.

So will not increase the throughput and capacity of whole chassis?

No, not really. Both chassis will forward traffic regardless of how many sup you have in each chassis. When you have a second sup in each chassis, it will be on stand-by anyway. The link I posted is good at explaining the concept.
