web interface on switch 2960

Hello everybody,

I made the update of C2960 24 port and 8 port model switches with the .bin file
I noticed on the internet that this installation does not include the web interface,
it is necessary to have the .tar file to obtain this web interface.
Is it possible to add the web package from now on without completely updating the switch?

Thanks for your help

Bests Regards

Dorian

Yes, you will need a .tar file (not bin file);  Get tar and open it with 7zip or WinRar program to see If you have GUI folder or html, then copy that to flash.  So, I think you could add it GUI or html folder manually; I did it some time ago on my voice router. see If you unzip tar file and have GUI folder or html, then copy that to flash.

Hello Thank you very much for your quick answers, I will try to put the html file manually in the flash of
the switch and see what it gives. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks you

Do you mean manually create the folder and copy HTML files, I never tried and that is not the approach right i guess.

Hello,

I pushed the .tar firmware, so the file is now with the html package. However, the web page is still in 401 error, do you have any idea? Here is the configuration:
