I once was told that the EX had 25GE hardware according to pre-standard 25GE implementation (cisco prop)
The FX had 25GE hardware in accordance to the 25GE standard.
Don't know if this is true.

Hi
The key difference between 9300-EX and 9300-FX series is FC traffic support.
The 9300-FX series support FC traffic.
Thank you.

Hi MKH, This is can be a bit misleading. Not all FX support FC. The 93108TC-FX-24 for example is FX but does not have support for FC. Therefore - it is important that FX is not thought of as always having FC capabilities as not all FX do.
Hope this helps,
Josh

Can you please let us know which latest ASIC FX support?
I thought both EX and FX support LSE ASIC.

The Nexus 9300 FX platform supports FC and FCoE and EX does not support it. Beside to that, EX does not support MACsec.
