Dear all,
I have a question about the generated log output below.
%SSH-3-PACK_PADD_ERR: Padding error: needed 0 bytes, block size 1580 bytes, mod= 8
Message : %SSH-3-PACK_PADD_ERR:
Severity-Meaning : 3-Error
Message-Esplanation : Padding error packet decompose failed
Recommended-Action: LOG_STD_ACTION
The recommended-action is "LOG_STD_ACTION", what's this meaning?
Best Regards,

I have a similar issue where I cannot use AAA server group on a particular catalyst 9300 running on code 17.9.3. If I get rid of the server group, TACACS works.
Below is the log we capture:
%AAAA-3-NOSG: No server-group passed through parser.
And as per Cisco , Recommended-Action: LOG_STD_ACTION. What do we have to do with this recommendation ???

How is your SSH configuration Looks like ?
is this message you getting when you try to login to switch using SSH ?
or is this log always generating with out any connection initiation ?

Hi, it is nothing just I want to see the recommend action "LOG_STD_ACTION" in detail. I think it is better to see it with the example.

I am getting this error message on multiple routers and switches, i believe that the error is generated when someone/app tries to log onto the device with a SSH client that is not properly configured. I have opened a TAC to confirm.

- @olivier leclerc The message LOG_STD_ACTION is rather generic , it is a summary of actions coming down to collecting info for a particular problem, collecting data and contacting support , if desired (indeed)
