I am getting ready to update the IOS version on our production switch.
When i do a "sho ver" command and look at the hardware, it tells me it is a model "WS-C3650-24PD" switch.
Then i navigate to software.cisco.com.
I put in "3650" and i get the following options:
Catalyst 3650-24PD-E
Catalyst 3650-24PD-L
Catalyst 3650-24PD-S
I am not sure which of those 3 options the switch is as it does not show me this information in the "sho ver" command.
How can i tell which one it is? i want to make sure i download the correct image..
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi
Look at the IOS file. You will see that they use the same file.
cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.07.SPA.bin
cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.07.SPA.bin
cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.07.SPA.bin
which means, the L, S and E does not use different IOS.

The same IOS works on all different models of the 3650 series.
