I can format a brand new compact flast card under Windows 7 and place an IOS for a 2811 router om it and when I put the chip into the router, it boots correctly.
But, when I format the same CF chip under Windows 10 and copy the same IOS to it and put it into the same router, it will not boot the IOS.
Any suggestions or work-a-rounds?

Thank you but I am looking for a solution to use under Windows since I have to copy the IOs anyways. Trying to save time and steps.

I found this free program that does format 0x6 but when I do it on a 512MB card, the router does not even see the file I copied on to it. Windows does.

Still have more options to try and looking at another program too.
