This has probably been asked before but I have had a search and cant find a complete answer.
We have 2 x 3750 switches in a stack. We use these for connecting servers that have teamed NICs, i.e. the 2 connections are each connected to a different switch in the stack and then configured as a port channel and this allows higher throughput and some resilience should a NIC or switch fail.
We have a couple of new web servers being installed and these have to use Windows NLB and we would like to connect using our 2 switch stack, one NIC in each switch.
With NLB do we have to put the cluster mac address as a static entry on the switch ports
i.e.
mac address-table static 03bf.ac14.d14b vlan 602 interface GigabitEthernet2/0/4 GigabitEthernet1/0/4 Port-channel4
I believe I have this correct but wanted a sanity check first.
Thanks
