Hello Experts,
Users in my LAN are facing the Wireless access issue. When I checked that though wireless is connected but the IP address is not associated for the Laptop.
Many users are complaining this issue. How can I narrow down the causes using WLC and WCS.
DHCP scope is configured on the core switch.
Any help would be appreciable to fix the issue.
Can anybody help with the troubleshooting steps should I have to kickoff?
Regards,
T.K

Hi,
You can ping the DHCP server from the WLC?
I am assuming that the DHCP scope is not full?
Try using the command debug dhcp message enable on the WLC. See the reference below:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6366/products_tech_note09186a0080af5d13.shtml#topic2
I am also assuming you DHCP option 43 enabled on the DHCP server?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_configuration_example09186a00808714fe.shtml
You can also try these commands as well on the WLC
debug client
debug aaa events enable
debug dhcp message enable
debug pm ssh-appgw enable
debug pm ssh-tcp enable
See below a reference to the debug commands available on the WLC
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6366/products_tech_note09186a0080b3e118.shtml

Hi,
check your webkey on the controller and also your config on your client.
When your webkey is wrong. You will get associated to the ssid but you will not be able to receive an ip address.
Looks like that you are facing this problem.
