Wireless Controller 2504 MPLS remote sites

Hello!

at our main site we have a WLC 2504 and 11 Access points.

They are all in one subnet/vlan.

That's fine.

Furthermore, we have several remote sites connected via MPLS.

The remote sites of course have other subnets.

Is it possible to manage those Cisco Access Point with the WLC at the main site?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Yes, you can have the APs deployed at the remote site and operate in Flex connect mode with local Switching enabled on the WLANs. Please refer the below link on Flex connect concept.

Ensure, you have UDP ports 5246 & 5247 allowed over the MPLS link for AP communication to the WLC.
