Hello Guys,
It seems that Write Command on Nexus Switchs is not available anymore, can you confirm ?
Is there a way to reactivate it or is there an another short command to save the running configuration on Nexus Switchs ?
Thanks,
Regards,
Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan, yes wr mem has been deprecated for the Nexus.
You could use the alias command to achieve something similar though
switch(config)# cli alias name wrmem copy running-configuration startup-configuration
Not the same but close

cli alias name wr copy run start

Cisco has finally delivered on their promise to remove the "write" command.
Cisco will not entertain any PER to put the "write" command back in for Nexus.

I see, well thanks to both of you.
I'll will check the alias thing, I didn't know that we can do this.
Thanks again.

Jonathan.

It's just "copy run start" to save the config now. Or copy run tftp etc...

Hi Leo,
What was wrong with the "write mem" in the 1st place? Who doesn't like short commands for daiy use?

Hi, guys!
For family Cisco Nexus3500 (C3548P-10GX Chassis, in my case) the command correct is:
cli alias name wr copy run start
Regards!
