Hi,
Is there any issue in writing logs to the router flash. Is there any possibility of getting the flash corrupted due to continious writing of logs to flash.
Thanks
Raj

My understanding is some flash technologies do wear out, i.e. they support only so many rewrites. However, except in the cases of solid state disks, it would be unlikely you'll doing enough rewrites to hit such physical limits.

So it is advisible or not to write logs to cisco router flash cards.

Assuming I'm correct in my understanding of some flash technologies, the answer would depend on how often the same part of flash will be rewritten. I recall (?) we might be dealing with thousands to tens of thousands rewrites before the flash is adversely impacted. So, whether its advisable or not depends on the flash technology and how often the exact same location of flash is rewritten.
